- For complete beginners I offer a safe, supportive and friendly environment to make your learning experience a pleasurable one. My structured training and coaching methods, based on your individual needs, will help keep you on track with a supportive, yet challenging approach, to rapidly build your skills and confidence as a safe and responsible driver. My concern is, not just to get you through the driving test, but to develop a valuable life skill that will serve you for many years ahead.
- For new drivers who have passed their driving test within the past year I can provide the extra training specified on the Government’s PASS PLUS scheme, which will give you invaluable experience of driving on a wider range of roads and conditions, including Motorways. You should be eligible to receive discounted motor insurance on completion of the scheme (see my Links page for participating insurance companies).
- For partly trained drivers I can firstly assess your driving skills and then complete your training until you reach the standard at which you have every chance of passing your driving test.
- If you are returning to driving after a break I can assess your driving and offer appropriate supplementary training to rectify any problems you may have with your driving.
- If you have problems with confidence or driving techniques I will aim to identify root causes and remedy particular or general problems.
- I am always patient and understanding with my pupils and will do my best to structure your lessons to suit your current lifestyle.
- Parents - do you take your teenage offspring out in your own car for extra practice but find it all ends up in a shouting match? Would you like to return home afterwards with your nerves intact and still have hair? I can illustrate the basic principles taught to learners, how to be a more effective and safer supervisor and maybe improve your own driving at the same time.
